Ingredients
- Zest of 2 citrus peels
- 1 cup citrus fruit juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Sparkling/seltzer water
- Half and half
- Ice
Directions
Fruit Syrup
- Mix fruit juice, zest, and sugar in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
- Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
- Strain and chill in the fridge until ready to use.
Italian Soda
- In a highball glass, add approximately 1/4 cup of fruit syrup.
- Fill glass most of the way with ice and then sparkling water.
- Top with a few splashes of half and half.
